Still watching The Closer. I realize that my academic integrity meetings often go much like her interrogations with folks not confessing to their crimes. I give them space to hear what they have to say, but when I have conclusive proof they’ve cheated, I slowly show them the evidence piece by piece

We are rewatching The Closer and I think this episode might be the best one. Two bodies fell out of a coffin in front of church and then the wedding that’s scheduled can’t go through with their plan and the bride assaults Brenda Leigh. This is just the opening of the episode.

I like how this looks like a movie about three girls in their 20s who just don't get along but all have to live together after their grandmother leaves them her rambling mansion in her will, with Sarah McLachlan as their kooky aunt who's also the mayor.

Really love having some maintenance company come on the property scraping the parking lot with some sort of metal tool and using a leaf blower this time of night. There was also a very loud work vehicle/truck — cannot figure out why it was so loud. A very loud rumble noise.

Was trying to listen to a true crime podcast about a nasty divorce but found myself absolutely not caring when you hear that they are just rich people who made their fortune fracking and spent millions in court against each other and appear to have no empathy or depth in interviews.
