New England highway rest areas make me nervous. Too many trees, and folks drive too fast through em. I’ll take the creepiness of the desolate, wide open rest areas of the west any day. . Rest Stop In Fog 10”x9” oil

😳 I’m guessing the story about a golem trying to repair the world with his limited time on earth resonates harder with the adults than the kids. Luckily there’s also a main character who’s tired of working in mama’s bakery and wants some excitement 😄 The music’s good, too!

📰 👀 So apparently it’s bad when the city council is tied 6-6… and it’s tied because progressive candidates don’t compromise… and it would be really bad if we got one more progressive candidate to break the tie…

Happy Hangul Day! It's a Korean holiday honoring the best and easiest alphabet in the world! Everyone in Korea gets the day off work to contemplate it, but it only takes fifteen minutes to learn! So today, learn to read Korean in 15 minutes!

That people who maybe don't connect with her see themselves in her bullies and realize "I would have been one of the ones she killed at prom"? They didn't earn the right to the comfort of feeling safe.

*so important*: if you’re voting by mail, assume the USPS will delay because it’s its policy. You can: —put it in drop box —go to counter to watch them postmark in front of you —if you’re dropping it in a mailbox, do it VERY EARLY.

Many states require that mail ballots be postmarked by a specific day. But due to a USPS rule announced late last year, voters may need to put their ballot in a mailbox days in advance.
