Remember: When #Ukraine is fighting for their survival, they do not 'escalate'. That is technically impossible. What the defender does is 'defend'. Only the attacker can 'escalate'. The peaceniks, like Samuel Charap, have blood on their hands by misplacing the responsibility for the war.

To my surprise, the @financialtimes.com published my response to Valdai Sam’s pathetic equivocations. 🇺🇦’s growing ability to resist russian aggression is not an obstacle to peace. The obstacle is russia’s belief that further violence may still deliver greater rewards. www.ft.com/content/bf6a...

"There is no one more cowardly, vile, and utterly pathetic than Putin." A resident of Vladivostok called on Russians to appeal to the Ukrainian government and to anyone "who can help free Russia from the despicable regime that has seized the country and held onto power for a quarter of a century."

Just a reminder that since Laura Loomer announced her support for Ukraine, Trump has: 1) walked back a promise to let Ukraine build Patriots, 2) denied a ukrainian request for 300 PAC3s, 3) slow walked 400mil in congressionally approved aid for Ukraine. But the vibes were good!

"I've lost everyone. My parents. My brothers&sisters. My son..." Ukrainian Defender Danylo Voronov lost his entire family in a Russian strike on Radushne,Dnipropetrovsk region At the moment a Russian ballistic missile hit their home, his parents,7 brothers&sisters, his 1.5-yr-old son,Artem, were inside

„This really is a crucial moment. The firing of Fedorov, if it is allowed to stand along with the keeping of Syrskyi, will not mean that Ukraine will lose the war. However it will mean higher casualties, more corruption, less flexibility and more Soviet style thinking. I can think of nothing worse.“

Hi All, free weekend update out. The big story is the Fedorov dismissal. That made this the worst week for Ukraine in years. However, stories are circulating that he might be back and Syrskyi could be on his way out. Can the worst week transform into the best week? open.substack.com/pub/phillips...

Ukrainian Defenders rescued a little owl that had become tangled in an anti-drone net. The owlet was carefully freed, given some water, checked for injuries, and released. Some time later, it flew back to the Defenders' dugout on its own. 📹: Khyzhak Brigade

"So, in between one vague declaration of love [theater of the absurd - dixit OBrien], Trump made three explicit threats against a NATO country over three days before, during, and after the Ankara summit. This is by far the bigger story."

Just sent out this post. The Ankara Summit was, contrary to the reports, the worst NATO summit in history. It was so bad there might not be another while Trump is president. Here are the reasons why, and it is not pretty. open.substack.com/pub/phillips...

I wish just one NATO leader (or all of them) would say, "This is unacceptable. The US president has lost his mind. America come get your boy. He's broken and needs to be under a doctor's care back home." I wish someone would tell the damn truth about what's happening.

It is amazing and depressing how often Trump has ridden to Putin's aid since becoming President. Just some of his actions include: 1) Cutting off all US military and economic aid for Ukraine 2) Slow walking vital military sales to Ukraine 3) Rehabilitating Putin by inviting him to the USA .

Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov: "We know that in terms of funding and manpower, we cannot be larger than Russia. But thanks to our asymmetry and constant search for new technological solutions, we will keep winning - and ultimately, we will win."

Yesterday, Putin issued a threat against Ukraine’s European allies, calling for an "analysis" of each country’s involvement in every Ukrainian operation "in order to possibly make responsible decisions in the future, if necessary."⤵️

I have been making a similar point for some years: if Putin says Russia is at war with NATO, it doesn't matter if NATO says it isn't at war with Russia: they are at war. How you fight the war is a different matter, but if you keep pretending you're at peace, you're in trouble.
