I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. I crowdsourced and then finalized this document "How to disable or avoid intrusive AI" and then gave it a short URL: notoai.org Please pass along if it's useful

Twitch and Amazon are apparently planning to use streams to train Generative AI. Multiple sources tell me it will be announced in the coming months, despite some internal friction against it. Creators may be able to opt out of some training data.

if you are a baby digital artist and you do not know about: -layer modes -alpha lock (sometimes transparency lock or opacity lock) -clipping layers -gradient maps google all those things with the name of your chosen software. your entire life will change overnight
