1/23 Sorry, this will be long... There is a lot of shouting about what happened in the Channel yesterday. So I want to go back to basic law. Not immigration policies or political rhetoric. At sea, the starting point is simple: Preservation of life comes first under all maritime conventions.

Those on board now on their 2nd rescue vessel as Border Force forced to play cat and mouse with far-right activists who have their own boat.
I’m awake early because I couldn’t stop thinking about this complete lack of humanity. Being part of a mob where children are leading this chant? Did they think it was cute? I’m lost, I really am.

I’ve just come home from an event in Pompey celebrating diversity and positivity to read this. Just glad this didn’t come across on the coverage. Sorry for Paul and the many sane fans having to put up with this.

Really made me question why I go & have to just ignore it. Also the anti Colby Bishop songs? Embarrassing but what can you do? I do hate football fans at times

Just read that some Portsmouth pitchfork wavers saw some brown people at a Portsmouth hotel and up to 50 of them gathered to protest yesterday. It was the Pakistan under 19 cricket team. Stupid wankers.
