@translucent.org.uk have recently released their latest report. "Sixty-one of the sixty-two Unitary Authorities responded to our FOI request – Only ONE complaint was found." Trans inclusion is a non-issue. It is a manufactured moral panic, which is an anti-rights tactic.

Starting to think we should just take the Amnesty UK statement at face value: that criticising transphobic groups "does not represent [their] institutional position", and that they withdrew and apologised for the briefing not due to legal pressure but because they are institutionally transphobic.
As bad as things are in the US, they look positively utopian compared to the UK. We at least still have major orgs fighting for us and the Dems have not completely abandoned trans people. I have no hope for the UK anytime soon. And it's only likely to get worse with a likely reform government.
