okay y'all, @protopasta.bsky.social has ruined me for any other sparkle black filament. I ran out of Empire Strikes Black and I'm going to buy more. Yes it is pricey, but the quality is worth it all on its own, plus they donated filament to print anti-ICE whistles so SUPPORT THEM!!!

240℃ wasn't great, but it only had one "stuck filament detected" issue. 250℃ had some print artifacts as well, but never required manual intervention. I think 290℃ started having some over melt issues, and it and 300℃ both had some oozing and stringing. 260-280 were all "ok", I'll be going with 270℃

miniature temp tower from 240 up to 300. 240 shows darkest and 300 lightest color. 240 is also the worst with missing bits, and stringing, and generally yucky print quality, 250 is also bad, but much less. 260 is ok, 270 is pretty good, 280 is OK and 290 and 300 start showing some stringing and slumping.the back side of the same temperature tower, showing the same issues as before, just even worse because of the features this side has.

the d20 design I have been printing has a non-dice version with rounded faces and one of the whistle coven printed one with EDGES THAT GLOW UNDER BLACKLIGHT?? (filament is quantum dot from @protopasta.bsky.social !!!)

Hard to get a good picture of, but I 3D printed a custom 4-way HAT switch using @protopasta.bsky.social's Blue Stainless Steel filament for my Virpil AEROMAX flight stick and I think it came out pretty great! I was a bit impatient with sanding/polishing, but it is surprisingly shiny as it is :D
