This bot is switched off. Bluesky decided to block links to news and transparency sites doing important work in defense of democracy, a cowardly and ill-considered decision. The bot stays off until that policy is reversed.

I was personally banned from Twitter by Elon Musk for reporting on fascists. I watched them block links to the Elon Jet Tracker. I have no use for a social media site that censors legitimate reporting, whether it's the Panama Papers or the Snowden leaks or Epstein files or DHS leaks.

Treating people as monoliths because of what they do behind closed doors or on a camera doesn't respect human autonomy. Treating every single sex worker or adult actor as a trafficked victim is only harming those who choose these professions out of free will and its infantilizing.

Not enough work is being done, even by the most left/progressive people in general, when it comes to unlearning whorephobia & de-stigmatizing human sexual expression & discussing consensual sexual ethics. Purity culture harms everybody.

I'm just gonna say it and I don't care if lose any friends & followers: Some Progressive (Christian) spaces are just as unfriendly and unsafe towards sex workers, porn stars and other sexually liberated people as the the hard-right conservatives spaces.

Went ahead and confirmed with an onlyfans link. Looks like Bluesky decided sex work isn't something they want seen now that they have a user base. SW and furries were a lot of the early user base because they weren't censored. Now they aren't appropriate for bsky's ai bro culture goals.

Oh, are AI haters becoming "unhinged" now? Does it seem like we're everywhere no matter what you do? Are we ruining being online for you? Are you feeling like you can't do anything without us making your experience worse? Is it like we can't be escaped even though you want nothing to do with us?

Using AI is almost certainly harmful to us cognitively, emotionally, creatively, and socially. We should not use it. We should not normalize it.

When I transitioned, I immediately started getting written up for every little thing. Finally, in a meeting with the regional manager and the branch manager, I pointed out that I had never been written up before transitioning. They said my old boss cut me a break because i "was a sad guy".

Democratic leaders can like, join arms or whatever to defend a building. Imagine if they bothered *even just once* defending trans people.

That takes a bunch of work to get there, with the biggest part being accurate detection. Constantly calculating toxicity scores for every quote post, reply, and mention allows you to roll those up to the user level. The worst of the worst we can suspend. The rest though is a bigger question.

Trans people have fought and suffered and borne the brunt of the depravity of fascist excess (along with immigrants and Black people), and it looks like the most we can hope for is a decade or more fighting Democrats to restore rights we had in every state in the union as recently as 2020.
