Podcaster, Fantasticast host, improviser, comics and Doctor Who fan. Brit abroad in Belgium. Barely making it past lunch.

It’s never too late to be who you are. Dr. Theodore John Kaczynski left his field at 27, began to pursue his passion at 36, and didn’t receive recognition for his work until he was 54.

Tom’s done an incredible thing over the last three months(ish) - ranking comic events from worst to best. Start at the top and work your way down though the nested posts for some excellent commentary on comics biggest stories.

STOP! You must be SUPER-ONLINE to proceed! #EventsDearBoy 1. FINAL CRISIS (2008, DC) Final Crisis is my favourite event. There are many excellent reasons for saying it isn't the *best*, but it's the one that most fulfils the promise of my first, Secret Wars: an epic story only an event could tell

i hate spider-man, i HATE him. i am going to use all the resources of my newspaper to smear him. he stinks! anyway. time to give my adult Son a big kiss on the lips and send him off to the moon. i’m sure he won’t come back a werewulf

I don’t know how you’re doing, but I found a dead caterpillar in my broccoli after several mouthfuls and will probably never eat anything green again. Except for mint choc cornettos, obviously.

Well, that’s the Odyssey seen. Pretty damn good. Samantha Morton was fascinating as Circe, my favourite performance. Better to have seen it late and on a smaller screen (the bigger ones are all Spider-focused now) than missed out.

It’s another mini-heatwave in agent, so I’m enjoying cold drinks on a bar built on a barge, ahead of going to see The Odyssey (with air conditioning). Also really enjoying the Map Men’s map book!

A copy of This Way Up and a long fruity
Icy drink on a bar table.

I've definitely not got a Doctor Who problem. It's just that I can't go to bed until I've finished watching the raw studio footage from Planet of Fire. All two hours and forty minutes of it.

Watching Planet of Fire for the first time. Lanzarote looks magnificent, Peter Wyngarde and his moustache are fantastic, and Dallas Adams has definitely made a choice with his accent.

Wedding on Saturday. Received a 'style guide'/dress code cheat sheet, probably made with AI, at 6am this morning. Not quite sure how that gives me enough time to do anything with it.
