That bloke who does that podcast your annoying friend keeps trying to get you to listen to. He/him. Posts every random thought in his head. AuDHD and not many filters. If you're only interested in my podcast you probably don't want to follow.
El-Sayed: "If all Mike Rogers got is that 'his name is Abdul, and my name is Mike,' you're gonna be surprised how many people are like, 'Yeah, but that's the Abdul who wants to bring down the price of my groceries and make sure I got healthcare. So yeah, I like Abdul over your Mike from Florida.'"

Guys, The Telegraph are at home crying into their gilets that you pointed out correctly their dead friend Rod Liddle was a wife beating racist self confessed paedophile, I hope you're proud of yourselves
I was wondering why I’d got 19 clickthroughs from The Daily Telegraph…
One of the things about discourse around The Odyssey is that only a couple of movies a year manage to get into 'the discourse' now, so everyone has to have an opinion on them In the old days there would be a Peter Greenaway film out by now to distract everyone & give them something new to talk about
Everyone Abbie is our Sophie in It’s a Superpower?? You all know she’s an incredible actor and comedian but she’s also a fucking brilliant writer and this show will be amazing. Go and give her a Daily Tism fam audience if you’re in Edinburgh!

A new Bond actor to be announced by Christmas, reportedly, and even with a concentrated giddy-up you'd have to think a finished 007 film is at least another three years away; almost a full decade on from Craig's last outing. I haven't missed Bond. Has anyone?
I don't dunk on people but the dude saying 'If you hate AI, could you get through a working day if it all went away tomorrow?!'is testing my resolve on that so much. I don't use your dogshit thief machine incompetence tech, Sparkie. I fucking work for a living.
i'm sure this time segregating an already oppressed minority will have a positive impact. i mean fuck history, right? it's gotta work sometime!
as someone susceptible to the earworm curse, I do not thank you for bringing this to my attention not one bit
There is a substantial chunk of the electorate that thinks of themselves as Republicans, that still tends to vote Republican, but wants Republicans to win fair and square. They like GOP policies, but they also like democracy. (And yes, that's a contradiction. Voters are vast.)
The decisive failure of GOP referenda in Kansas Amendment 1 and Missouri Amendment 4 yesterday is yet another reminder of something I've been saying for a while: Voters, even Republican voters, now regularly despise and repudiate GOP attempts to use them to destroy democracy.
One thing I really hate is when I notice a similarity between short phrases in two songs I know well but don't enjoy, and then get a looping overlapping medley of the two stuck in my head forever.
This is one of the first bits of this show I built up fully. Too tempting. #TFNation come-downers should get this listened to. Not only is it about - well, listen to the clip - but he's played by that kid on the old transformers dvd who said that "two quid for a fist" thing you remembered
No affiliation!!!! Please don’t sue us. @gracejarvisohno.bsky.social guest stars in this week’s It’s a Superpower??

Discovered a cursed photo subgenre: "grift hands"
just had a horrific vision of the future in which Zack Polanski and Kemi Badenoch have a podcast and now I need a lie down
The main AI that I use (and I employ that word loosely) has to do with vendor contact and tech support chatbots and if they disappeared, I would throw a party
Every time they open their mouths, I swear to god, it’s a confession of how pitiful they are. They are so hopelessly addicted to the sycophantic lie machine that everyone else HAS to be using it too. “Checkmate!” they scream as they slowly turn to reveal their soiled trousers
I have one answer.
Think it's funny that guys were trying to run 'Emily Wilson is just against and doesn't like or appreciate action cinema' and she's out with a new piece wherein she loudly proclaims her love for Die Hard. Hilarious. 😂😂😂
this will probably mildly baffle a few customers but tbh it makes more sense anyway and might even help out a few of the older fellas who need the cubicles more often
it pisses me off SO much that as someone who runs a pub I'm meant to enforce this transphobic, sexist garbage. fuck off. the only solution, since we don't have a disabled toilet, is that the toilets are ALL gender neutral and I'll get new signs saying one has cubicles other has urinals

I’m telling you this as a political scientist. The person who is electable is the one who is elected. This can and does change over time. Any and all speculation about “electability” is either puffery or anxiety and is often both.
One way to be safe is to never write an electability take
Revolver turns sixty today. Been my favourite Beatles album for about forty of those years (and how gratified I was in the 90s to see it overtake Pepper as the critical favourite too). There is no "best album ever" but if there was, it'd be hard to make a case against this being it.
Everything I write, everything I make, rests on a lifetime of cultural experiences, some of which others will share. And even if I wanted to write something perfectly accessible, unless it’s a picture book for five year olds, *I don’t know what you, random stranger, have and have not read*?
Girón: oh also, people are way too divided these days Girón: like, some people are pro something, other people are against that same thing Girón: and ai is just one more thing that you have to have an opinion on! Girón: everyone should stop having opinions on ai and just be pro ai!
Girón: oh no boo hoo hoo ai is bad, well maybe you didn't know this but you've already been forced to use ai constantly, against your will by the powers that be Girón: so maybe you should give up and learn to love the slop Girón: unless you like being a hypocrite
Look I know I am not saying anything new here but I am *raging* that a bunch of self-proclaimed 'feminists' are in fact doing the work of patriarchy by trying to force us all back to a place where women must conform to a narrow set of stereotyped standards. FUCK OFF. I LIVED THROUGH THE '90S.
