There was always a concern among natsec leaders in Canada that if there was a war with Iran, it would use operatives in Canada to engage in acts of terror. Today police are suggesting that rather than its own, Iran is using criminals-for-hire, something increasingly common globally as Ling notes

Prosecutors in New York say that the previous consulate shooting (plus shootings on synagogues in Toronto) were organized and paid for by an Iraqi militia with ties to Iran. It looks like Iran has been paying for attacks like these to spark unrest. (Russia has been using similar tactics in Europe.)

When they say “old stock,” they mean white and European people. When they label themselves as enforcers, it’s tied to their belief that they will have to use culture, politics and violence to achieve their goal of a racist mass deportation of people who aren’t “old stock” Canadian.

For anyone wondering whether IPC and public health leaders are competent to manage Ebola, the answer is a categorical "no". Current WHO guidance, released May 17, 2026, is still based on the 5-micron error, which has been out of date since 1934. The quacks responsible for this should be in jail.

Justification
Protection of the mucous membranes of the eyes, nose and mouth is an integral part of standard and
droplet precautions (19, 122, 123). Droplet precautions consist of IPC measures that aim to prevent
infection with pathogens that can be transmitted by large-particle droplets (larger than 5 μm).
Contamination of mucous membranes is probably the most important mode for filovirus transmission.
Hence, PPE to protect mucosae is essential to prevent transmission. Because of the lack of effective
viral-specific treatments and the high case-fatality rate, the GDG felt that a strong recommendation was
warranted.

#medsky #scisky #polisky I need help falsifying a hypothesis: "A significant portion (>10%) of routine Ebola cases are a result of low-efficiency aerosol transmission." Yes, many official sources promise it's zero (as they did for COVID) - but what is the actual scientific evidence? Scientific...

1/ Over the past several months that I’ve watched the Alberta separatists, it probably won’t be a surprise that there is a significant amount of bigotry and far-right conspiracy rhetoric in the ecosystem. One could do a big thread on that story, but this time went about that.
