I think a lot of people don't really understand that the reports of Russian forces looting museums in occupied Ukraine (particularly Kherson prior to liberation) were not just "soldiers being soldiers" but rather an extremely intentional occupation policy meant to steal cultural heritage

This is horrifying. Fourteen people were murdered and 121 injured, including 22 children as russia attacked the largest mall in Kryvyi Rih on Friday afternoon. 29 people are in severe condition.
Trump has denied Ukraine supplies of ballistic missile interceptors, and now refused to help Ukraine seek out and destroy Russian ballistic missile launchers. They'll be toasting him in the Kremlin tonight.
Trump has rejected Ukraine’s push to get Elon Musk to enable Starlink for long-range drone strikes inside Russia. Kyiv says access could help Ukrainian forces hunt Russian ballistic missile launchers more precisely. www.kyivpost.com/post/82837
Sixteen people were killed in Kyiv and the surrounding region last night as russia sent waves of jet-powered drones and missiles into civilian infrastructure — while Ukraine is running out of the means to intercept them. 1/2 #Ukraine #Ukrainianview
Think you've seen it all? Today, a Russian drone munition smashed through a window in Kherson and landed right in a 2-year-old boy’s bed. It didn’t explode, and the child was unharmed. Police and volunteers are now evacuating him and his mom.
Ukraine’s Patriot interceptors are running critically low, leaving Kyiv unable to intercept recent Russian ballistic missile attacks.
A Russian Shahed hit a passenger train locomotive in Odesa region, killing the driver and his assistant. The train stopped in time to evacuate 340 passengers and crew – no one else was injured.
Russian troops have executed at least 345 Ukrainian soldiers who clearly showed they were surrendering, Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets says. Red Cross representatives have not been allowed into any facility holding Ukrainian POWs since 2022.

Ukraine said the video - showing a terrified civilian being hounded by a remotely-controlled drone - amounted to a war crime.

Republicans cut funding to Ukraine to reduce Ukrainian capacity, make Ukrainians die and save Putin's war machine. Don't just believe their words, look at their actions. The Republicans did what they could to help Putin continue his war. It is disgusting that they pretend they want peace.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Ukraine's ability to strike deep inside Russia has altered the conflict's dynamics in recent months. He said Washington is prepared to assess whether this shift has opened a path toward a negotiated settlement. #Ukraine

The video sums it up very succinctly: John Mearsheimer and his 5 years of being 𝐰𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 about Ukraine (Video by Marijn Markus, source in Alt text)
It’s day 1,616 of John Mearsheimer insisting that russia is winning its 3 day war. War he previously insisted wouldn’t happen because a Great Power like russia is much too strategically rational to do any of this. The "great esteemed realist scholar" is still introduced as an expert on said war.
Putin doesn't want to end the war because he'll get bored without it.
Do not believe anything until the Kremlin denies it™️
In the past week, Russia denied they are planning: 🔹Exit visas 🔹A new Iron Curtain 🔹Another mobilization after the September election Expect them to deny plans for martial law shortly. Reminder: "Do not believe *anything* until the Kremlin denies it ™" -- @darthputinkgb.bsky.social

‼️ Russia: “Putin ordered the budget to be prepared for the continuation of the war.” This is a continuation of Putin’s regularly scheduled programming. The next 3 year budget is typically submitted to the Duma at the end of September. ru.themoscowtimes.com/2026/07/27/p...

Et pour ceux qui osent encore croire que WB n'a aucun rôle dans la distribution aux unités russes sur le front de matériel militaire... Les soldats et leurs familles achètent directement sur cette plateforme des moyens de combattre et de tuer des Ukrainiens.

Anything that can be done to influence Trump and his supporters away from russian influence is worth trying, because the russians are relentlessly working to influence Trump, too. War is always a battle for hearts and minds. President Zelenskyy has many faults, but he knows how to fight a media war.
The fact that Trump reposted Laura Loomer's interview with President Zelenskyy suggests that Ukraine made the right decision in officially hosting this former russian propagandist. She appears to have influence within the MAGA movement, and this should be exploited to the fullest extent possible.
🤬 10 KABs hit Kherson in the last half hour, local authorities say.
Ukrainians called Putin's bluff on Crimea, despite all of the Western hand-wringing (from Biden, from Musk, from plenty of others) about it. Not only was Ukraine right, but it exposed Putin's bluff. Crimea was never some special Russian holy land. It was just another Ukrainian province.
