Rare night off of Pokopia this evening

Late to the party but Jason Plato getting the boot from his eponymous (no longer) team is fucking brutal. I know he and Rowbo are minority share holders, but something there fucking stinks. Especially with their sudden comeback in Knockhill and Donington.

This is because someone said “I don’t want a new year, I want a gently used year like 2016” on New Years. They forgot that 2016 was an awful year for celebrity deaths.

This girl I used to waitress with in Austin, we moved to New York together in 2003 on a literal Greyhound bus. Shared a fifth floor walk-up studio that, when it rained, had more leaks in the ceiling than we had pots and pans. We used to get drunk and smoke off the fire escape and do “sad-offs.”

Today is my birthday which means it’s time for my annual reminder that August 8th is International Cat Day and International Female Orgasm Day. Go forth and take care of a pussy. 🐈‍⬛

Yesterday my best friend and near constant companion, Jynx, was put to sleep. Jynx was like a Pokémon. She followed me everywhere, helped in daily activities, and slept next to me most nights. She was chatty and charmed everyone she met, and melted the most avid dog peoples’ hearts. I am bereft.

Spent the better part of the last 24 hours with a wire up my nose and down into my stomach to get data ahead of potential surgery later this year. Got Pokopia just to keep my mind off it and I am *so* glad that I did. Already paid dividends in the distraction alone.

I’ve had some health stuff happening using some scary words & lots of recent surgeries/procedures. Management is taking over my life right now, and diet is a significant form of treatment. Some days eating within the rigid dietary restrictions is overwhelming. Today was not one of those days.
