I occasionally exist. Any pronouns welcome, chaos encouraged.

Generations are useful as reference points, and there are of course many cultural differences between older and younger people, but I got fucking sick of “Millennials ruin everything” in the 2010s and I refuse to help pass that propaganda along to Gen Z.

Her son carefully lifted his ochre-stained hand from the cave wall and studied the outline. "That's me. My hand." He looked at the other hands. "Do you know all?" "Some are older than me." "That old?" "Hush you," she laughed. "We don't make these to be seen tomorrow, but because today, we live."

A fond memory moment. To the lady who worked at Waldenbooks, who regularly bought my early wire jewelry pieces just to support the creativity of a weird artsy bookish kid, thank you. You'll never see this, and that's okay, but you made a difference. My work has gotten way better since then. 💖

Farewell today to the high priestess of polka dots, Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama (1929-2026). Her work was unforgettable and for her, a means to survival. It’s playful, psychedelic, compulsive, beautiful and slightly unsettling all at once. Into infinity and beyond Yayoi! 🔴🟡⚫️

You know, there's something exemplary of my luck about rolling a character with 1HP for a Cy_BORG one-shot specifically intended to end horribly, and the dice thwarting my every potential exit so that I make it to the apocalypse despite myself. Still, it was a lot of fun. 😁

I dropped out of time again. I accidentally fasted for 3ish fatigue wipeout days. I ate food yesterday, and also today. It shouldn't be "seeing stars with the gravity turned up" exhausting to make toast, it shouldn't be "and that's all of today's energy" to digest that toast. Bodies are nonsense.

There's nothing like writing several pages, going back, and then realizing that my ongoing dispute with Time as a universal force shows through in my flat inability to maintain any semblance of consistent verb tenses. But to hell with it, I wrote those words by hand, they can stay.

Side note: If a walking stick or cane seems like a fun accessory, I (as a disabled person who has had to use a cane from time to time) heartily encourage you to use one! And if it at all makes your life easier, I encourage you EVEN HARDER TO KEEP USING IT.

Britain’s tiny gaggle of hooting mad elite cranks, who all know each other and relentlessly repeat each other’s idiotic bullshit, are of course not “victims of social contagion”.

A disproportionate number of Gen Z females are affected by vague syndromes and may be victims of social contagion

Twice a year, Hawai'i experiences a strange moment where the sun appears to be exactly overhead & anything that is completely vertical casts no shadow. Let's learn about Lāhainā Noon, subsolar points & 'Kau ka lā i ka lolo', meaning "the sun rests on the brains."

From a Reddit forum, a photo of a can of coconut milk with a blue label, papyrus text and a flip-top, on a sidewalk. It seems to hover because there's no visible shadow. The pavement is sort of unevenly colored, with bright spots, and the grass along it is green and lush.

Sometimes it gets heavy that chronic illness has me running out of things to say. I'm still kicking, still paying attention, but words are out of reach when it seems like all I've done since January is sleep. So hey, how you been? I've been off in the dreamworld. The sharks and zombies say hi.
