I love when you ask someone why they have to use AI and suddenly all other search engines don’t exist there is no spellcheck besides quill bot and no one has yet invented a map, or a book, to look at for reference. You see no one was able to write anything prior to 2022. It was impossible.

I’m still not over this: I went to the fabric store today and was looking at different colors of red cotton. When asked, I explained that I’m a horror creator, making a blouse for some work events. Cut to 3 older ladies debating which cotton lawn is sufficiently blood-like.

Remember when people were claiming the use of em dashes was an AI giveaway? The horror when I discovered while book editing that em dashes are recommended by the Chicago manual of style, a major guide for American English language publishing… ANY BOOK IN THE US IS LIKELY TO USE THIS???
