This one does 4 CDD every other row instead, then I grafted the final 10 stitches. If a shortrow heel works for you, do not try these. Got a deep instep? These are perfect. #KnitSky

Cosigned. I am permanently disabled thanks to the violence my parents dished out. The single best breakthrough moment in therapy was hearing my therapist break character as a neutral person there to let me process things with "Your mother is a FUCKING BITCH". My therapist was not wrong :P

Sometimes, most times, my ADHD meds and caffeine are a godsend. And then there are days like today where I slug back the meds with an iced coffee, it throws me off a cliff, and I wake up 4 hours later. At least it was a weekend day?

I think something went awry with my yahrzeit candle during shipping. However, my Gram z”l whose yahrzeit it is would have gotten a kick out of the wonkiness, so it’s fine. My son and I said the Mourner’s Kaddish and then cackled as we recalled her antics. Her memory is indeed a blessing. 1/2

So in the first iteration of the current regime, crossing from Canada to the US, we got pulled in for a random inspection. As I sat beside my husband, knitting away, I glanced up and saw his portrait. I literally loudly and uncontrollably retched. That would prolly get me arrested this term.

Even though we didn’t always see eye to eye, he wanted to kill ‘em all, for example, while I simply wanted to let the market determine who lives and dies, we nevertheless wanted people killed.
Befriending terrible people doesn’t help you understand them better. It blinds you to the damage they do to the people you represent. You know them *less* well as a result of your personal affection.
