It appears we've once again acquired a collection of feral kittens who have absolutely no idea they're only 500g and look like they've been assembled from fluff and bad decisions.
So, we're looking for feral kitten fosterers.

Requirements include:
• Being shouted at by something smaller than your slipper.
• Accepting that every meal is apparently a hostage negotiation.
• Remaining calm while a kitten with all the physical presence of a teabag attempts to convince you it's a tiger.
• Not expecting "thank you" from tiny individuals whose only hobbies are hissing, glaring and committing crimes against your hands.

These kittens arrive with all the social graces of a drunk bloke outside Wetherspoons at closing time. Your job is simply to convince them that people aren't, in fact, the enemy.

It takes patience, a sense of humour, and the ability to ignore being judged by someone who only learned to use a litter tray last Tuesday.

The payoff? Watching a tiny, furious gremlin gradually realise that chin scratches, warm beds and regular meals are actually rather lovely, before heading off to a forever home as a completely different cat.

update: she has mandatory-attendance online class during our excursion on the sightseeing tour that has been reserved for months and that i verified with everyone was good to go when i booked it. so she could miss the class and fail, or everybody cancels because you need four to go on the excursion.

even as a die-hard physical media guy, this is really how it should be some folks don't have the space for physical media but still want a large collection, and digital allows that (digital should also be across-the-board cheaper in addition to protecting your purchases)

Saying we should all go back to physical media I think misses the point. I actually *like* buying games and movies digitally for a bunch of reasons. What we need is better consumer protections so the things we do buy digitally are actually owned and companies cant delete/revoke access!

bought what i thought was sparkling water and didn’t realise until i cracked a can open that it was an energy drink. it tastes very yummy. am concerned about effects. drinking it for science.
