Last night I dreamt that Matt Damon was trying to bump the numbers of his ailing summer blockbuster by standing outside a theatre all day and cajoling people to come in by shouting "Goddassyeus!" at them.

So glad I will get to experience watching The Odyssey as someone who doesn’t care that it’s a poem or whatever, you won’t catch me caring about its faithfulness, I will simply be whispering to the person next to me “that’s the horse” when the Big Wooden Horse appears

One for the La Chimera heads out there: visited an Etruscan necropolis with some kick-ass paintings, full of tombs which have been excavated. Alas, they've all been emptied already, not by tombaroli but by archeologists (lame!)
