Today, August 4, 2026, is the setting of Ray Bradbury’s short story “There Will Come Soft Rains” about a fully automated house continuing on after the family who lived there and the world around it died in a nuclear blast.
It's starting to legitimately enrage me that people will use the preferred pronouns of AI chat bots and not trans people.

In all seriousness, she's absolutely right. Even if adding to the "it was staged" noise is probably hilariously frustrating to this evil regime.
Margaret Killjoy@margaret.bsky.social · 4mo agoIt really is substantially more likely that some guy wanted to shoot some people (or one man in particular) than that the government staged a false flag attack. Running towards conspiracy thinking is naive and you should be embarrassed. Is it possible? Sure. Is it likely? No.
If I didn't already know that Trump was staging all these assassination attempts to generate sympathy, I'd say he must be jealous that no one tried to kill Obama. Not even once.

You ever just, like, wanna go home? You want it more than anything, and you'd give anything for it. But home isn't there anymore. It's gone. It no longer exists. The structure is still there, but it's a ghost now. And it haunts you.
(also these actions brought upon mass reprisals that led to hundreds and hundreds of random Dutch people being executed. the Nazi occupation sucked and as cool as the resistance to it was, not having to do any of that should woulda been better)
the Dutch resistance developed the best ever knock knock joke that only works with nazis. You knock on their door, and then when they answer, you shoot them dead. (And then ride away on a bicycle, it's the Netherlands). Best part about this joke is you can do it over and over. Never gets old!
Of course they did. Because there's a 150% chance it disproves their insane conspiracy theories about this vaccine killing people.

HB 249 creates a new category of "seminudity" which can be used to arrest women who aren't nude, but are wearing clothing — leggings, t-shirts without bras — that religious groups feel is too provocative.
This is what that cop was talking about when he came to my elementary school warning about the dangers of huffing.

I worked at Barnes and Noble during the 50 Shades craze. I read enough excerpts. No one can ever tell me that popular opinion or marketability are tied to writing quality again, and that means to me the editor in this example is full of shit.
Just throwing it out there that there were a shit ton of voter machine data dumps posted on BreachForums following the 2024 presidential election. Probably nothing to worry about.
