Hi! 👋 I'm ACY, a composer from Belfast, and I'm out here making vibey music for cool games and your stereos 💿✨ Here's a bit about what I do Any and all shares greatly appreciated! 💝
lots to say here but why the fuck is Bari in a lab coat (i probably don’t want to know lol)
Lean In To Fascism
When Trump beat Harris by a point and a half the media and commentariat treated it as a landslide total conservative victory.
Progressives didn’t get the big election night they wanted
What gets me is that AIPAC is going to turn around & spend on the Republican in the MI Senate race while centrist Dems malign Abdul as a non-Democrat. But it’s fine & party line to support people funded in millions by donors entirely agnostic to their party & only concerned with a foreign country.
thinking back fondly to that time in 2012, 16 years into florida's charter school experiment, after almost 500 charter schools had already failed, when the republican legislature simply made it illegal to examine what happened to someone's last charter when they applied for a new one
4 Hillsborough charter schools close amid financial, enrollment challenges
i really have no patience whatsoever for people who are scared of muslims having elected office
Since we're talking about Michigan tonight, here's my 2nd favorite shot when I rolled on through last year.
yearning for the days when "yeah, I don't know either" was the end of a conversation

I do an explicitly trans podcast with my brother who is also trans and The Screen Act would absolutely fuck us over because according to the fascists in charge our existence is harm.
The SCREEN Act is not just another age-verification bill — it goes much further than anything passed at the state-level or in other countries. 1. The bill doesn't just target porn sites. It goes after *any* site that allows material "harmful" to minors. You'd have to scan your face to use Google.
Cis influencers were caught pretending to be trans for rage clicks and sub money. Over a year later, they are not only still doing it… there appear to be more of them...
some of us took the implicit premise of "vote blue no matter who," that after the primary majorities and margins are more important than intra-partisan factional disputes, pretty seriously and it increasingly looks like that group did not include a lot of the people yelling "vote blue no matter who"
I have two novels so far full of trans joy, villain punching, rock music, lesbian feelings, and classic magical girl action. I'm working on the next book *and* on some other cool stuff, so why not support the cutie crew? Read their current adventures in ebook, print, or audio formats! magicariot.com
too many people who love magical girls don't know about Magica Riot yet and this must change 🥹
god i forget how poisoned we all were back then holy shit. also dying because omg 😂
Oh my god I think I found the video.
As many have noted, today is the day Ray Bradbury's classic short story There Will Come Soft Rains is set. Here is a wonderful reading of it with music by the great Mollylele.
Today is August 4th, 2026. mollylele.rocks/track/there-... (read by @unarmedoracle.bsky.social, music'd by me)
“I just want people to remember that the things our loved ones leave behind can mean so much more than just the object itself,” he adds. “They hold stories, memories, and pieces of the people we love.” this is in incredible. he made an altar that is a replica of his grandma’s home.
Grieving Teen Couldn’t Stomach the Thought of Selling Grandma’s Belongings, So He Built a Nana Cave Instead (Exclusive)
After his grandma died, Hudson Waters built a backyard shed to recreate his grandparents’ home and preserve family memories with their belongings.

#AuGhost Day 2: Framed A.ghost in a frame, in a frame Watercolor & ink 😈🎨🦇 #AuGhost26
I opened the article about the deaths earlier, read “underlying health conditions” at the start of the second paragraph and wanted to throw my phone.
people could respond to this framing around reporting deaths—"had significant underlying health conditions"—with more confidence if we weren't also living through a pandemic in which we have been told only people who have "underlying health issues" are "vulnerable" or "at risk"
