And every time you engage with this franchise, you signal to the industry that there's still money in it and they should keep pumping out content from full-cast audiobooks to book box partnerships.

I have talked some about this previously but of books I'm aware of (that go through my publisher's site and that I send out directly from my stock), I sell maybe 20 books a year across all my titles if I don't have a new release. It's very very little. They're literally here waiting to be read.

Hell doing my part There's several authors whose books you can get from Fenris Publishing, FurPlanet, and Sofawolf. @tfpublishing.bsky.social likewise can help AUS readers get their hands on some furry books from them as well as being a publisher themselves

Being an author of a book that's only sold about 30 copies in over two years, I'd feel like a whiny bitch agreeing with this. So I'll note instead that ~10 copies sold per year is likely average to high for furry novels.

AI has been a curse upon authors in a billion ways but one of them is, it turns out all of us groaning "can't the book just write itself" have been forced to acknowledge that, no, we actually don't want anyone else to write this for us, much less a robot

Years ago I discussed with Wilds about publishing his works while we were operating as Jaffa Books. Sadly this never came to pass while he was still with us. With the help of @resolute.bsky.social we will be publishing a story that honours Wilds's intentions for his work. More details to come.
