And now some Reylo angst for #ReyloSSS

Seeing her standing there, he simply freezes, as a quiet, fraught moment passes before he moves aside to let her in. As she wanders through the familiar space, it now feels as alien as the hospital room she'd just left, marked by the absence of her touch and the the glaring absence of the small talismans carefully curated by her and loved by them both.

Here's a little something from my upcoming #ReyloGetStuffed fic! Can't wait to see what everyone's working on! #Reylo #Reylofic

“Don’t think for a moment I’m doing the dishes–” she began, then wheezed as a surge of pumpkin spice aroma invaded her nostrils. The tickle turned into a cough, and she pulled back from Ben with an abruptness that sent his eyebrows launching skyward.
“You okay?”
“Yeah–” Rey coughed into her elbow. “Just… How intimate did you get with the pie filling this morning? It smells like you rolled in it.”
He frowned. “I made the pies yesterday. You know I always make the pies ahead of time so we can have the oven for the turkey.”
Logical. Correct. And yet.
“Huh. Seasonal cologne, then?”

She turns, pivoting on her toes and lifting her stiletto heels. He's leaning forward in his chair, one hand cupping his chin, the other hanging loose between his thighs, watching her intently. She takes a step towards him and he leans back to give her space.

"What do you want to see?"

The corner of his mouth lifts.

"Everything."

I am having wayyyy too much fun putting Ben through hell 😌✨ From chapter 6 of Biology (and other made up things) #reylosss

Rey saw no reason to delay, tossing her blouse over her head, then bending over to pull down her shorts, straightening up as Ben turned back to her again. He nearly jumped out of skin, though she wasn’t sure what was so surprising. Didn’t humans bathe in the nude? She was certain that clothing would get in the way.

”I thought we set a rule about being naked?” He wheezed.

Rey glanced around the small room, confused by his reaction.

“This isn’t public.”

Slow progress on Ch. 6 of Westward Home, but I think y'all are gonna like this scene.... #reylo #reylosss

His thoughts came to a standstill. She wanted him to—what? Watch her bathe? Bathe with her? Heaven help him.

He fisted his hands so tightly, there’d probably be cuts left from his fingernails later. He should say no. He should tell her to go on alone, to leave him out of it and not tempt him to do something he shouldn’t.

But if he said yes, he’d see Rey strip down to her shift, soaked to the skin, in as private a place as they could get out here. He’d watch her wash herself, her hair, her arms, her legs. And she would let him look.

He ought to say no.

He unclenched his fists, feeling his fingers tingle with returning blood.

“Alright.”

A #ReyloSSS snippet from my #ClydePhee Werewolf arranged marriage fic: this reception is going to be a banger, anyway, enjoy the Bride being hand fed by her Groom at the Head table. ☺️

It's a momentary flaring of the panic of her nerves, though, as she's soon distracted again, as her new husband raises his fingers, holding a small bit of barely charred red meat, to her lips, she unconsciously opens her mouth to take the bite of bison, snatching the bit of flesh from between his thick fingers to chew. As the taste explodes on her tongue - sweet, a hint of blood, coppery, salty, a tang of pepper to enhance the incredible flavour - she blushes, realizing what she'd done, realizing, too, that she'd barely restrained herself from nipping at his thick fingers as she'd accepted his offering, had barely resisted the urge to suck the lingering taste off the tip of those very same fingers.

From the much delayed chapter 2 of Drown it Out (canon-ish Preylo)

He'd pulled on pants, though they were slung dangerously low on his hips, no belt and whatever fastening they had not fully done up, and he had shoved his feet into unlaced boots. Other than
that...
There was quite a lot of bare skin, dotted with freckles and moles, a few dark bruise like marks she tried not to think about, and dark ink on his left pectoral that seemed to wrap around.
Some sort of corded necklace she'd never noticed rested against his throat,
and bracelets of similar design encircled each wrist.
"How did you do that?"
She blinked. "Do what? I didn't do anything!"

my ser!al killer/slasher fic for #reyloween will *hopefully* be ready to start posting on the 31st 😅 it’s giving me more trouble than anticipated but I’m determined!!! #reylosss

“Hello, Rey,” he said. His voice was too deep, too scratchy, filtered as it was through whatever voice modulator he’d built into his helmet. It sent a spike of fear—actual fear—up her spine.

Why am I scared right now? It was such an unfamiliar feeling. But he was here, at her place of work, seemingly just to intimidate her. Just to say he can do such a thing without blinking an eye. He could be everywhere, all the time, and she’d never know unless he wanted her to.

She turned to run but he was faster. His arms wrapped around her waist and dragged her back until her spine was pressed firmly to his front and her hips were against his hard thighs.

“Ah-ah,” he tutted in her ear, “no running in the library.”

She opened her mouth to yell but he anticipated it and used a gloved hand to silence her.

“No screaming either.”

Very late for Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde day for #reyloween but hopefully something will be ready this afternoon

Then there’s the tincture Ben’s developing. He started taking it several months ago and since then she’s seen the man she married succumb to something more carnal and she has to say she doesn’t hate it.

It’s actually quite titillating as Rey waits rather impatiently for Ben to take his tincture. Her breath hitching as her bedroom door opens to reveal her husband's alternative form. It is slightly more beastly but it's still clearly that of Dr. Benjamin Solo, although when he visits her like this he seems to enjoy calling himself Mr. Ren. Rey greets him with a smile and open arms.

“My little wife,” Mr. Ren rasps as he swoops her into his arms. When he first appeared to her she thought it wasn’t possible for it to be Ben but there’s a scar on his lip and a mole on his neck that tell her it’s him. He’s beastly in the way his eyes shine and the sharpness of his teeth, the way his muscles flex beneath his open shirt as he crawls onto the bed with her.

Here's a tiny excerpt from my upcoming #ReyloGetStuffed fic! #Reylo #ReyloFic

Shit.
Shitshitshit.
Rey ignored the beads of sweat running down her chest, turning her bra damp as she rummaged through her purse. Her fingers clawed desperately through crumpled receipts and loose change as she fought to calm herself with deep breaths.
Rubber ducky–don’t ask. Phone. Tweezers. Lip gloss.
Fuck, c’mon.
Her fingers hit a tiny plastic bottle, and her knees almost buckled in relief.
She cranked the top off the blue and white Advil bottle and dumped it into the palm of her hand. All the little brown pills were there. But no blue suppressants.
Fuck.

#ReyloSSS Blind Ben, art student/caretaker Rey. I love exploring new depths through my writing. This fic was for a #RFFA gift exchange.

Rey excused herself and went to her room, where she put away her backpack and lay on her bed, tired from the day's trials.

In her mind, she could see their faces upturned to hers, listening. Maz had been studying her, gauging her through other senses, her voice, most probably, but maybe also her posture — it was uncertain how much of Rey she could see, a pale shape against the deeper shadow of the corridor. The woman had a round face, riddled with wrinkles that crinkled with joy when she laughed. Her hair was wrapped up in a colourful silk scarf. A tiny woman, who still sat mostly straight.

Ben's strong features had been highlighted in the lowering sunlight coming through the kitchen window. He chased the light, she realized, sitting where Rey would squint uncomfortably. His place at the table.

She closed her eyes, trying to imagine what it was like. The dying sunlight was passing through her own window. Imagine if that was the only thing I could see, she wondered. It was a terrible feeling. Soon she opened her eyes again. She heard the doorbell, some voices; Maz's taxi was here. She looked at the time: still an hour before starting supper. She took out her drafting pad and pencils and started drawing Ben's face.

#ReyloSSS Started as a #Reyloween story, but overflowed into something more.

Now I am her catch, he thought.

He watched the coast recede in the growing distance between his old life and the next one, until not even a line of vegetation showed on the horizon. The boat slowed. Reyna caught the side and looked over at him.

“Ben,” she asked, discarding the last of his fake identity. “Help.”

So he leaned close and grabbed her strange webbed hand, and pulled her up and in with him.

She was tired, he could tell. Her past year’s ordeal had weakened her, but sitting in the sunlight, she was radiant. He stared at her, at her fined-boned face, her long tail, still enchanted by her beauty. Familiarity had not dissipated his wonder at the creature sitting in the boat with him, both of them being pulled away by laughing dolphins.

“Why?” he asked, finally.

She frowned, and shook her head, looking for words. Then she finally said: “Strong. Good.”

It could mean anything, but he could only guess, and there was still a good chance he would be killed and feasted on by multiple mermaids. ‘Just desserts’, as they say. Not the worst way to go. He hoped.

“Alright.”

But instead of ripping out his throat, Reyna wanted something else from him: “Sing,” she said, pointing at the mandolin.

As the sun arced back towards its watery bed, Ben Organa-Solo strummed his mandolin and sang for the mermaid, and the dolphins, and the sea itself.

#ReyloSSS #Reyloween A ghost story. A smutty ghost story.

One night in the next week, he startled awake. He could hear the piano play. The piano downstairs. It stopped just as he got up. It was 4am.

Two nights later, it started again. This time he made it all the way down before it stopped, just before he reached the living room. And of course, there was nobody there.

Those damn pills, he thought. This is just grief, you lived this before.

The year following Renata's death had been full of guilt and pain. He grew unable to listen to music. Unable to masturbate. 4pm threw him into black moods. He still managed his business, but it was finding that new job, that new life, and finally a girlfriend that had put him right again. He'd worked so hard, so much. But he'd lost everything. And gained this great old Victorian house that nobody wanted and still had that damned piano. That was out of tune.

Except it wasn't. Not in his head.

He caught her the next Tuesday.

Sometimes I like to remember I love the crew from the OT and that they LOVED Ben. Anyway, here’s a little snippet from the upcoming chapter of ‘The Widow Skywalker’ for #ReyloSSS. (To be posted this week.) archiveofourown.org/works/897426...

Looking back from an adult vantage point now, Ben is struck by how young they'd all been.
Young and beautiful and happy, so very happy, all of them; happy for the newly married couple and happy with each other and delighted to be together.
Delighted to be with him, delighted to see him, play with him, tease him, even dance with him. (A favourite memory from a day of favourite memories is dancing with his mother, swaying slowly in front of her with his hands in hers as The Jeff Healey Band's 'Angel Eyes' played.)

Hehehe Pre-wedding festivities are about to begin in Chapter 3 of It’s Not A Thing, Rey!

"Fran," her cousin said, glancing at Rey for a moment, before adding, and this is my...boyfriend, Phillip."
Phillip laughed and nodded, leaning down to whisper something in Fran's ear that made her cousin actually giggle and blush harder, pink deepening to spots of red on her cheeks as she leaned back against him. The man even leaned down and kissed Fran on the
nose.
"You're in public," Rey said, almost hissing.
"Yes, that's why I have pants on," Phillip said, letting it roll off his back with an easy laugh, and Rey resolved in the moment to hate him, no matter how doe-eyed and happy Fran looked. Ugh, she looked at him kind of like the way Phee and Clyde looked at each other.

chapter 10 of 'it'd be you (I'd call my home)' is coming tomorrow! here's a sneak peek featuring confident Ben.... #ReyloSSS 🌿 archiveofourown.org/works/840607...

“And”—this isn’t about last night, and she really shouldn’t bring it up at all, but her honesty gained too much momentum over the last five minutes and now her mouth is forming the words anyway—“it was too bad your alarm interrupted us this morning.” Rey has to press her thighs together at the memory.
From the corner of her eye, she sees Ben’s widen briefly. He sounds pleased, perhaps even a little smug, as he murmurs, “Oh?”
It’s her turn to nod, because anything else she could say would be far too incriminating.
Ben takes a long drink of water, then pushes his half-full bowl aside and takes out his phone, tapping out a quick message.
“W—what are you doing?”
“Telling Mitaka not to come in here for the next half hour,” he says casually.

Ben never wants. Why? What would be the point? He is one-hundred-and-fifty-five years old, such silly urges had lost their spark a very long time ago.

Human desires are, at this point, ephemeral to him. He eats because he has to, not because he cares for the taste. He doesn’t involve himself in scandals or antics and stays quietly off to the side, observing. He hasn’t had sex in so long he’s not even sure he remembers how to do it. He doesn’t care about the people around him—he hardly even notices their faces. To him, they’re just a blurry shape with no crucial definition. Bland and unremarkable, easily forgotten. But not her. No, certainly not her.

He’s never seen anything as clearly as he sees her.

A #ReyloSSS from chapter two of the #ClydePhee werewolf arranged marriage fic. Believe it or not, it’s six sentences 😂 “With the moon in her hands’ archiveofourown.org/works/944435...

It's a close run thing, but, no throats are slashed before Ophelia Bang's marriage is formally proclaimed.

Sitting at the head table for the celebratory feast of her marriage, she at least feels free to take a small breath in relief. Tensions remain high - she's not fool enough to think the drama done - but, truly, given the events of the last hour, she's grateful enough they'd all made it here with all muzzles (mostly) unscathed by the teeth of those other monsters present. The relief is so overwhelming that she almost feels comfortable relaxing enough to let her posture slip enough for her back to touch the back of her chair.

A tiny shake of her head at the inappropriate urge, she sits up straigter in her seat.

It's the heat, she thinks, just the heat. That's it, that's got to be it.

Ch. 5 of Westward Home has gotten away from me... It just keeps getting spicier...... 😏 (Full chapter will be ready this week!) #reylo #reylosss

It was all entirely too great a temptation for Ben to handle. Thus, as he finished up at the anvil one night, when Rey came to him with a plate of food and a jaw-popping yawn, he set down his tools with a smile, wiped his hands on a rag hanging from his back pocket, and took the proffered plate with a kiss to her cheek. Her eyes widened, and her cheeks turned a soft shade of pink.

“Thank you,” he murmured, carefully monitoring her discomposure for signs of fear or discomfort. He saw none.

She swallowed thickly, the sleepy look in her eye now gone, and nodded.

“Go to bed,” he said to her. “I’ll join you in a minute.”
