Nothing can constrain Trump? Warren: No. Republicans have the majority. They could constrain Trump on war, slimy tax deals, on his corruption. The list is long. But to do that, they would actually have to grow a spine. And so far, what we have around here is a bunch of gelatinous blobs. PabloReports

With primaries behind us, it's now time for Dems to focus on winning in Nov. That'll involve something hard: establishment Dems will need to ask what they can learn from progressives, progressives will have to focus on what they can learn from centrists & both'll have to find ways to work together.

Poor Jeanine Pirro. It’s always sad when a vicious liar loses their job because they unscrupulously tried to ruin the life of an innocent American hero to appease the most repellent man in America. Drink up, sweetie.

I worked for New York’s largest medical center at the start of the pandemic. There were morgue trucks on the streets. They set up emergency medical tents in Central Park. Healthcare worker colleagues died. It is horrific that RFK Jr is on national TV lying that ICUs were empty.

This is a story about the President and several of his hand-picked appointees all committing crimes and blatantly lying to the public while stealing public funds and abusing the criminal justice system, but the NYTimes describes the situation like they're recapping a soap opera.

Another example of the problem with the fixation with Trump’s putative emotions: here a story about the Trump administration’s corruption, incompetence, and venality is framed as one about Trump’s “wrath.” www.nytimes.com/2026/08/01/u...

The GOP is desperately trying to rewrite history, but just a reminder that Donald Trump was president during the lockdowns, and he awarded Fauci a presidential commendation for his work on COVID. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

BREAKING: Senate Republicans blocked Democrats' proposal to end Donald Trump's IRS sweetheart deal. This deal gives him FULL IMMUNITY from audits on tax returns he's filed. It's corruption on steroids.

Running out of body bags, using forklifts to transfer corpses into makeshift morgues, a mortician conducting 200 funerals in a month when he usually does 30, crematories running at double capacity… And these senators just want to memory-hole it all www.nytimes.com/2020/04/30/n...

The coronavirus crisis is overwhelming New York’s system for burying the dead.

Steve Rattner: President Trump used to brag about all the money we were making from tariff revenue. Last month, that trend flipped to a $26 billion loss as the government started paying back the tariffs the Supreme Court ruled illegal. The refund bill is just getting started.

The Iranian analysis of the MoU was right all along. Vali Nasr: Iran’s leaders suspected that the MoU was a temporary retreat by the US, intended to relieve pressure on the global economy and prepare for another round of war. Iran’s current rulers believe that any display of restraint will only

So what changed? The Senate passed the Epstein Transparency Act - unanimously. Now, some of those very same senators are lining up to confirm Todd Blanche — the same man who's been leading the Epstein cover-up. We deserve better.

Warner on CBS: I was embarrassed that the president went before our country and networks like yours carried this as news as opposed to a rehash of falsehoods. It is incumbent upon you and any responsible journalist to pushback on this.

It's a sign of how shockingly corrupt this country has become that a nominee for Attorney General is given a hearing by the Senate *the very same week* he has been referred by a judge for possible disbarment for unethical behavior. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Officers shooting a man, running away from law enforcement, who is not a target of law enforcement, and who poses no threat to law enforcement, is murder. Federal officers do not have the power to commit summary executions because they are aggrieved.

AOC: I said this a couple of weeks ago: I would not be surprised if, when ICE funding started up again, we would start to see more civilian deaths at the hands of ICE. And that’s exactly what has happened. We didn’t see things like this happening with the same degree when we froze ICE funding.
