Recommendations for good Hammer Horror movies please. Bonus points if Peter Cushing and/or Christopher Lee are in it.

I hid who I really was for nearly 50 years. Acted how I thought everyone would expect me to. I now choose to live my real life, be my true self. And if that bothers you, that’s your problem. 🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈🏴🧚🏻🦆🦄🐞🦋🦕🐓🧝🏻♀️
There is a stereotype in the trans community about weaing big and baggy clothing to hide you body because of dysphoria. After learning about this I assumed that’s why I did it. Nope. Turns out I just really like long swishy clothing!

Contacted GP surgery by letter months ago about them writing the second medocal report needed for GRC. They lost the letter. Put in complaint. Practice Manger has written a letter for me - not a medical report, and they won’t be charging me as I called out the repeated misgendering by surgery staff
None of it is about protecting women, it is all about them being allowed to be racist, mysogynistic, transphobic, homophobic, violent nonces.
Men will send me emails like this and then go rampaging on the streets of Dover and Portsmouth claiming they want to keep refugees out in order to “PROTECT OUR WOMEN!” Not a single one of the young male refugees I’ve worked with has ever spoken to me with such violent misogyny.

Thanks to illness yesterday, we are home from Wales earlier than intended and with no visit to the adorable animals at Exotic Zoo. Dispite that, it has been great to get away to Wales for a few days, being there always feels like coming home. Really needed it.
I have the “Round the Twist,” theme stuck in my head!
"I can't believe the British government would brutally suppress a peaceful protest, throw priests & housewives in jail while allowing a group of vicious masked paramilitaries to do whatever they like!" is not the kind of thing you're likely to hear any Irish person over forty say.
The barber/piercer shop in Barmouth, where I've gotten all my piercings done has gone!
This is too early to be awake on a Sunday, and on holiday.
Oh’s explaination, “There’s a thing, that things in it.”
Just so we are clear: The 83yo priest on the left is a terrorist. The balaclava-clad men on the right are protestors with legitimate concerns
I thought I was coping with the depression, but I’m not. Going to Wales tomorrow, I should be excited, but I’m not, I’m miserable. I am worried I am going to ruin this, our first holiday this year. I feel overwhelmed. I feel trapped by work I don’t enjoy. Looking for a job, but no idea what.
I’m off the Wales the weekend to look at mountains and sea and heal my soul.
4 weeks into therapy. Past the first 2 weeks of my therapist learning the background, and she is asking specific questions. Starting to realise that I don’t completely know yet who Rhiannon really is, & that [Deadname] really didn’t deal with issues, just had surface level thoughts & work arounds.
In all fairness I had assumed Richard O’ Sullivan had passed away years ago.

I really think the big Potter problem is that most people who aren’t terminally online genuinely don’t know how active and influential Rowling is in pursuit of her bigoted agenda. They think we’re just angry about her views, rather than her actions. I think it’s important to tell people.
Trans rights are under greater attack than ever before. We cannot let politicians claim no-one told them. Our friends at @transsolidarity.bsky.social have rescheduled their mass lobby for Wednesday 9th September, 1 – 5pm, in the Houses of Parliament. We’ll be there with you. https://bit.ly/4i91O8O
Mass Lobby for Trans Equality - 9th September 2026
The law around trans equality is fundamentally broken. Government inaction is hanging trans people and organisations out to dry - with a confusing mess of challenging rules and lawfare.

My therapist made a comment that suggests to me that she vastly overestimates the amount of forethought that happens before I open my mouth and say something.
Just over an hour to therapy (which I look forward to) but therapist hasn’t sent the link (She is very last minute with them). Trying to not get anxious.
