Having kids has completely rekindled my love and admiration of public libraries - what wonderful and magical realms they are. Like it's genuinely thrilling to suggest going to the library as an activity and the boys are really enthusiastic about it. Libraries rule

Texas bill could punish bookstores for 'obscene' books

A new bill in the Texas Legislature, authored by Rep. Nate Schatzline, would allow businesses to be held liable if a minor reports damages from "obscene" books.
