Like, I’d still be angry at them trying to silence a critic, but just a minute or two of thinking would have revealed better and less attributable ways to attack his institutional legitimacy. And once again I am just shocked at the things private sector people are willing to say in writing.

All they had to do was peer review his dumb books in the name of accuracy and rigor (many academics don’t like him anyway), but this company is as gormless as it is evil, so they flailed like Regina George and got court discovery instead.
