![When hearing the news about the recent death of the X-Men, O.Z. Chase goes to a bar to drink while he goes over the last letter he received from his friend Alison Blaire. The letter tells of her experiences since joining the X-Men and it causes O.Z. to think back to the last time he saw Dazzler...[1]
Back then the X-Men were still living at Charles Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, and Dazzler was in the middle of a training session that is interrupted by Wolverine. Logan puts himself in the line of battle and does not help, leading to Dazzler failing her training session. When she asks why he didn't help, he tells her that she has to learn to stand on her own before she can rely on her teammates. The legendary "walking bed" page from Winsor McCay's "Little Nemo in Slumberland" was published on July 26, 1908. If there’s a Mt. Rushmore for Sunday pages, this one is certainly on it.
First I saw of him was PBS’ production of Reilly: Ace of Spies. Excellent!
Alejandro Arbona 🇵🇷@alejandrobot.com · 3w agoNot remotely his or John Carpenter's best movie, but a testament to what Sam Neill meant to me was that I went to see Memoirs of an Invisible Man because I loved Chevy Chase and invisible man shit (I was literally a child) and what stayed with me, to this day, was his chilling bad guy performance
