I’m not saying I’m a protagonist in a Haruki Murakami novel, but I am currently laying on my floor reading a Murakami novel while I drink whiskey and listen to jazz.

PlayStation apparently now has live TV and they have a goddamn SAILOR MOON station, which has already improved my night a thousand percent.
dang, new cat all pissed. this is not the face of an animal who is pleased to have been discovered.
Literally the two dumbest motherfuckers I’ve EVER heard of are the richest guy in the world and the President, but my smart and cool friends doubt themselves every day. Your insecurities are fake. Your hang-ups are fake. Your limitations are fake. Go do whatever you want I promise it’s possible.
At this point the Ed Sheeran tour is just gonna be him singing along to shoddy instrumental karaoke versions of his own songs.
Me when I hear Geddy Lee & Neil Peart trading fills in “YYZ”
whatcha thinkin?
There’s a wifi network name in my new neighborhood called TheTonyZone and I just wanna meet Tony and ask him questions about his Zone.
Whenever I think of the story about Haruki Murakami becoming inspired to write his first novel after a hit at a baseball game, this is the sound I hear.
Elly De La Cruz just nuked a baseball clean out of Great American Ball Park

Ross Douthat? I sure wish he wouldn’t!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [proceeds to break both arms from windmill-high-fiving everyone]
Now that’s a way to have a fun afternoon, I tell you what.
Today’s the day: gonna eat an edible later and see COYOTE VS ACME.

I now live across the street from this bar and just had one-a them magic cocktail napkin stories flow outta me. Feels good, man.
There’s a bar I like to go to from time to time where I spend the whole night writing a short story that fits on a single cocktail napkin. Some nights it doesn’t work out, but those nights when it does? Oh baby, it’s fuckin’ magic.
Just learned that one of my old Portland comedy pals, Nariko Ott, has passed away. Dude was incredibly funny and I’ll never forget his kindness when, after my first show in the city, he invited me to the bar where all the comics hung out after their sets and introduced me to literally everyone. RIP.
Been too long since seeing some local bands and this one did not disappoint. Saw Palehorse/Palerider for the fourth time and they’ve quickly become one of my favorite Denver acts, but Moon Destroys was the headliner and they were incredible. (They just put out a new album and it’s fantastic!)
Going to see some local bands for the first time in roughly a year tomorrow night and I’m very stoked.
Finally moved the last of my things into my new apartment and it feels good, man. It’s ugly, it’s unorganized, it’s incomplete, but goddammit it’s mine. Now to reward myself with margaritas!
I saw this happen during the live broadcast and I can tell you the payoff is absolutely worth the full watch.
The replay where the catcher is looking at nothing and the ball goes sailing by him is hilarious
Just got a rejection from a lit mag that I completely forgot I had submitted to nearly a year ago.
thank you The New York Post for what may be the funniest image of all time
There is nothing like watching this movie in a theater, man. One of my all-time favorites for a reason.
T-minus one hour until I get to see AKIRA in a motherfucking movie theater! (Technically for the second time, but still excited nonetheless!)
I love how this graphic makes it look like they took Dinger out back and shot them in the head.
