I do it in intervals. I extend them very slowly and by tiny amounts. Today my run/walk interval was .2mi/.1mi. I can go 2 miles at that pace. That's peanuts to an able-bodied person, but for someone who's never been able to participate it's everything. In a couple of weeks it'll be .25/.05.

This is your irregular reminder that you cannot both support trans people and cheer on this kind of research uncritically. "When they dig up your body they'll know you were [X]" is common hate speech lobbed at us. All DNA testing tells us is what chromosomes someone had in the sample being studied!

If anybody was excited that Science Fiction Weekly is aiming to "revive" Daily Science Fiction, you should know they are straight-up lying about having gotten permission from writers to republish DSF stories on their website. (Yes, I have sent a DCMA takedown notice.)

I know a lot of y’all had stories in DSF. Do a search on their site for one of your titles, then click on your name to get the entire list, and send takedown notices as the spirit moves you.
