About a month ago, before Between Two Cons, I updated Night Tripper for the first time since 2022, to version Ansible 1.0, but didn't really push it out publicly. I made some tweaks and pushed Ansible 1.1 just now!

If you want space-faring, gun-slinging adventures (with the occasional sword duel), you aren't going to get that from Dungeons & Dragons no matter how much official art they slap on the cover. You WILL get that from Drier Deserts, Hotter Suns though! A game designed with all that in mind!

The Kiss My Axe second edition ashcan raises money to improve the product without a crowd-funding campaign. The first target is indexing the book. Second is editing and proofing. The third is original art. The ashcan’s got none of these things. . . but it has Viking action!
My next big game is set in a Book of the New Sun Urth-like post post apocylpse at a vaguely medieval level of development. Grenades are referred to as "millennia old technology" and flintlocks and muskets are all over the place.
almost every single fantasy setting, going by the other available technology, should have guns it is legit irresponsible that they don't, and it creates a false impression of how early guns became widespread
