I’m an old Brit living in rural France with my Irish wife. I’ve been involved in politics for most of my life, and for now I'm concentrating on the politics of the UK, the EU, and the USA. The 2 people who anger me most are Trump & Farage!
This headline is of course entirely symbolic - coal still generates almost four times as much electricity and about 8 times as much total energy as solar in China. The much bigger milestone is that coal generated less than 50% of China's power in the first half of 2026.

But, being ex-military and working with weapons, I've yet to hear an explanation for how Bone Spurs was hit in the ear with a high-velocity rifle round and ended up with nary a scratch or a scar. It doesn't happen.
