My heart breaks for Taehyung. Sharing his hearing loss with us is, I suspect, a step in acknowledging that it may never improve 😢 I hope now that it's out in the open, he'll feel comfortable pursuing whatever accommodations will preserve his hearing and enjoyment of music long term

It’s an art work, ‘Objectification’, by Lutz Bacher. He didn’t make it, but found it like this in a thrift shop. It is in Brussels now, in the art exibition ‘Burning the days’.

The merry go round in the MGO mv being a spacecraft is such a fascinating choice...it emphasizes the inescapability of the merry go round we are are trapped on: there is no place to go; the only alternative is the cold emptiness of space But otoh it also suggests that the merry go round is-

The panopticon is a design of institutional building with an inbuilt system of control. Concept is to allow all prisoners of an institution to be observed by a single authority figure, without the inmates knowing whether or not they are being watched.

It makes you wonder if the things you’re trying to build today in your own worry and anxiety, as inconceivable as they may feel and be, might also end in such beautifully full bloom. Doesn’t it?

Thankful to see the member's different perspectives coming out in the Rolling Stone interview. I think it's important for BTS to keep sharing that they aren't a hivemind, and they have to work really hard to maintain their unity and shared purpose. It's not just fate; true love requires effort.
