HOT BLONDES IN ODD POSITIONS

@rosieunfathomable.bsky.social

Rosie / 🏳️‍⚧️ / 28 imagine a woman with indescribably niche opinions about things such as TOYS and WRITING and MARIO CHARACTERS. NSFW on occasion so be prepared

the age-old sentiment of "lol I might have to start drawing porn in order to make a living" is so disconnected from our current reality that I first misread this post as saying "I might have to STOP making erotic art in order to make a living" and I was like "yeah I've been thinking the same thing"

Seeing some of my fave "big-name" artists on BSKY joking that they might have to stoop to making erotic art to make a living has me miffed. Erotic art has A) been artistic subject matter in all time periods and cultures, and B) Erotic artists are ALWAYS at the front of threats against the arts.

every so often I think of something I did as a teenager and then think of how I thought I was allistic until I was like 29 and do the simpsons collar pull

The replies are like "I'll just pirate it!" and I'm sure all your trans friends and associates are happy to know you're still a fan of the woman who's made it her life goal to ruin their lives, you just don't want to pay her for it.

As a new Harry Potter trailer makes the rounds, it bears repeating that there’s no way to watch this show without supporting J.K. Rowling’s bigotry and the structural violence she’s inflicting on the trans community.

So apparently the research project I got invited to participate in at Oslo University Hospital has the researchers from the privacy violation scandal involved, and just doesn't disclose that in any of the forms. Fucking lmao. Institution that just cannot be trusted by trans people.

This gets especially silly when we're talking about super niche queer fiction like. No, I don't think your passion for M/F romance is being suppressed by a market that only ever wants yuri, I think you're just lost and have ended up wandering into Yuritown without realizing.

One thing about the whole "the thing I want to write isn't popular so I feel forced to write this other thing" complaint is that audiences will pick up on it if you're writing with disdain for their preferences. Write something you actually like, or audiences will leave you for someone who does.

Do not speak to the BBC if you are trans. Just don't do it. Tell them to go fuck themselves. Even if you know the reporter and they are not an ass, tell them to go fuck themselves anyway because they work for the BBC and their editors will do this regardless of the journalist's intent.

More appalling behaviour from the BBC. ⬇️ A trans person interviewed about their horrific experience having their surgery cancelled whilst in the hospital described as 'biologically female'. And then half the article devoted to praising the work of an unemployed transphobe. 🗣️ DEFUND THE BBC 🗣️

There are endless studies showing this and also the financial and societal benefits of universal basic income and or housing-first policies but the U.S. never goes for any of it because it would require allowing the poor to receive benefits that the rich consider “undeserved”

“A single-payer universal health care system could cover every American, save more than 100,000 lives a year, and still cost $1 trillion less than the system it would replace, according to a new preprint study led by researchers at the Yale School of Public Health.” ysph.yale.edu/news-article...

Millions of Americans may not receive their mail ballots in time, or at all, because of a secretive, court-defying system being rushed into place by the Trump administration. Two months before the midterms. This isn't by chance. It's a blatant attempt to steal an election. Share this everywhere.

USPS rush to implement Trump order could cause ‘catastrophic failure’ of mail voting, whistleblower claims

A whistleblower claims in a new report that the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) has embarked on a “secretive, rushed” effort to implement President Donald Trump’s mail voting order ahead of the midterms,…
