JEOPARDY, APRIL 13th, 2049 KEN JENNINGS: This common euphemism for bribery has its roots in the Mayor Eric Adams administration of the mid 2020's. CONTESTANT: What is "Slipping the Chips?" JENNINGS: Still in jail, last I checked. The board is yours.

“We posted a series of screenshots without any alt text of a thread we shared on the site owned by a Nazi to explain why we amplified the words of a Nazi thanks to a freelancer we sought out to bring us the words of that Nazi which he hacked so we could spread meaningless distortions.” Fuck you.

This Senate proposal advanced by Sen Cruz would cancel new and existing State laws on any aspect of tech use including civil rights, consumer protection, privacy, fraud, safety for kids, accessibility, and more. In short, we’d lose the few laws we have that ensure responsible AI use. #killthebill

Don’t be confused: The Senate Republican AI language includes the EXACT SAME AI moratorium as the House bill. Almost word-for-word. This is a complete, 10-year ban on state AI regulation. Period.

A red circle around the AI regulation ban language reading: IN GENERAL. Except as provided in para
graph (2), no eligible entity or political subdivision
thereof may enforce, during the 10-year period beginning on the date of enactment of this subsection, any law or regulation of that eligible entity or a political subdivision thereof limiting, restricting, or otherwise regulating artificial intelligence models, artificial intelligence systems, or automated decision systems entered into interstate commerce.

The public meltdown happening between the world’s richest man 🙄 and the President of the United States 🙄🙄 once again begs the age-old question: are men simply too emotional to be in positions of power?

Sometimes I just start my day at 5am and have done two loads of laundry and cleaned my apartment when I go to the grocery store and it’s not open because it opens at 8am 🤦‍♂️

I know many people my age still have a lot of nostalgia around Harry Potter and might be tempted to watch the new HBO TV series. Please, I'm begging you, do not tune in. J.K. Rowling is singularly motivated. The new Harry Potter series is a cash cow intended to fund anti-trans bigotry.

J.K. Rowling is using her wealth attained from the "Harry Potter" series to create an organization dedicated to removing transgender people's rights "in the workplace, in public life, and in protected female spaces.” 🔗: bit.ly/3ZBRxYk

J.K. Rowling uses 'Harry Potter' wealth to fund anti-transgender organization

“One young man sobbed when a guard pushed him to the floor. He said, ‘I’m not a gang member. I’m gay. I’m a barber.’ I believed him. *** He “began to whimper,” as his head was roughly shaved, “folding his hands in prayer as his hair fell.” He “asked for his mother & cried as he was slapped again.”
