on this the morning of the Baltimore Running Festival I am having a moment of crystal clarity: I DO NOT LIKE RUNNING. I don’t know why it’s taken me into my 40s to realize this. The tragic thing is I like races (festive!) but I hate training.

my high school best friend just messaged me to say that she thought she just saw someone that looked like a kid we went to elementary school with and within 5 minutes I have pulled up his resume, headshot, address, wedding website and a Dwell article about his home renovation.

I am being aggressively marketed gummies that you take before running/exercise. As somehow the lightest of lightweights (5mg made me dizzy and take a long nap yesterday) this doesn’t feel that smart to me personally but it’s intriguing nonetheless

Just remembered the Christopher Columbus bit from the Curtis Sliwa-Adam Friedland podcast, the #1 clip of all time for Not Having Any Idea What Words Are Coming Next

since I live where I live, I sometimes get a bit complacent/snide about other cities' issues because I just assume that theirs are always easier/simpler/better funded.

The Ravens tend to do the best when I refuse to watch the game itself, only coming out of my room once per quarter to make a worried noise at my husband and then I watch the highlights later :) and I am doing all of that for my fellow ravens fans and you’re welcome
