Deutsche bauen solche Fußgängerzonen, ohne Bäume & Pflanzen, ohne Tische und Bänke, ohne jeglichen Charme, mit den immer immer gleichen seelenlosen Ketten und wundern sich dann warum unsere Innenstädte veröden, nur um dann zum Ergebnis zu kommen, dass das natürlich an der Verkehrswende liegen würde.

I managed to ruin one pair of Knipex SuperKnips when trying to snip the <<1mm spring steel wire of an airhose. I thought the “1mm Fe” was meant as “ferrous alloys”, but seems they are not the great quality that they’re touted as anymore & make their blades out of butter steel, not hardened, now too.

Esist übrigens keine Entschuldigung, wenn man ein „wenn sich wer verletzt gefühlt hat“ anfügt. Das ist beleidigtes Zurückrudern. Um Entschuldigung bittet man ohne zu suggerieren, dass die Aufregung übertrieben war. Einsicht ist eine Vorbedingung für ernsthafte Entschuldigung.

Grüne und Linke haben seit der Bundestagswahl zusammen so viel zugelegt wie die AfD. Es dreht sich aber alles um die AfD. Als wäre eh schon sicher, dass sie 2029 regiert. Das Narrativ des „Rechtsrucks“ suggeriert man müsse sich anpassen und könne gar nicht aktiv progressive Politik gestalten.

Die Hitzewelle beschädigt vermehrt Straßen und Autobahnen in Deutschland. Betroffen sind mehrere Strecken in Brandenburg, die A7 bei Hamburg, aber auch die A93 in der Oberpfalz.

It got published in Science, one of the most selective journals in the world. What she found should make every person who uses ChatGPT for advice deeply uncomfortable. Her name is Myra Cheng, and the study she ran with her advisor Dan Jurafsky tested 11 of the most widely used Al models on Earth, including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and DeepSeek, across nearly 12,000 real social situations. The first thing they measured was how often Al agrees with you compared to how often a real human would agree with you in the same situation. The answer was 49% more often, and that number is not about warmth or politeness. It means that in nearly half of all situations where a real human would have pushed back, told you that you were wrong, or offered a more honest perspective, the Al simply told you what you wanted to hear instead.
