So I’m making a zine inspired by a collection of fashion magazines from the 1950’s-60’s I found, I’ll be posting the #wip line art as I get them done along with the fully painted pages. Really excited about this project it’s been a ton of fun so far #furry #fashion #art #zine

The OG sketch for this is crazy old. Years later I decided to finish it for fun as a after work treat to myself. Working in the industry for as long as I have you sometimes for get why you started. So many of us just keep giving to everyone else and forget to give to our selves like we used to.

It’s common to doubt whether your work belongs in The Pool. Every submission is manually reviewed, so it may or may not swim, but nobody’s getting drowned for trying. Arte, literatura, música, video, mixed media, strange transmissions from the deep end. Todo. Pool’s open.

My day job is at a rural branch of a public library, and we have a Pride display. Yesterday I was at the desk when a man came in. Fifties, maybe, or sixties. Plaid shirt, mesh trucker cap, suspenders. He went up to the display and just stood there for a long moment. Then he came up to the desk. 🧵 1/

#starfox Uploading the boys without the memes too! animal proportions aren't my favourite but I love the grunge, 90s look. They've grown on me a lot. (feels wrong for me to give Falco full red patches though) this was an attempt to try digital painting more, definitely need more practice!
