Westover@mrlovenstein.bsky.social · 21h agoRebuilt my #MTG Commander deck from the ground up focusing on card *function* (i.e. mana ramp, draw) instead of card *type* (i.e. creature, sorcery) and now swapping out cards feels like WAY less of a headache. It’s just “Does this serve the function better or worse? Does it serve extra functions?”

Retooled my Progenitor Cmndr #MTG deck to be mostly 🟩/hydra-focused, with other colors in there as flourish to round it out. Still a few ⬛️ baddies in there like Avatar of Woe & Visara the Dreadful, some ⭐️ multi-color creatures—plus some rando shit to ruin people’s day lol. Can’t wait to try it out!

Top tip: If you're in the audience for a panel at a convention and they unexpectedly bring an abuser onto the stage, it's actually acceptable to boo at him. You can just make it very awkward for him to be there ruining the panel you wanted to see.

My new favourite type of account is the indie band asking others to help repost and promote their upcoming single/video/album and you go look at their feed and they have virtually never reposted anything not about or adjacent to them. Yer really nailing "reciprocity" and "community," folks. 🎯
