Roman’s wide field and coronograph will complement JWST and Hubble. But JWST still rules with unparalleled sensitivity & spectra, and Hubble is still utterly crucial for science that requires blue & UV wavelengths (including detection of Neptune’s highly variable Great Dark Spots).

KSC-20260821-PH-SER01_0002 Teams inside the Payload Hazardous Servicing Facility at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida encapsulate the agency’s Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope within the payload fairing on Friday, Aug. 21, 2026, ahead of mating to a SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket. Encapsulation shields the spacecraft during rollout, ascent, and the early phases of flight. Roman will investigate dark energy and dark matter, conduct a statistical census of planetary systems, and enable a broad range of additional astrophysics research. A estas alturas creo que hay bastante hartazgo de imágenes del eclipse, pero hasta ahora no había tenido tiempo de procesar como quería al menos una de mis mejores tomas. El resultado es, creo, mi mejor fotografía del eclipse del 12 de agosto. Son toques sencillos sólo en Camera Raw. :-)

I don't know what's worse, taking it seriously or disregarding it. I think more people in Europe need to read Trump's National Security Strategy, because it literally explains how Trump wants to undermine European institutions and create regime change in Western European liberal democracies.
