People forget how fucking retched the sales were at Marvel before Cebulski took over. *Most* of his tenure was pretty good for Marvel, it just totally tanked over the last 2 years or so.

Per @andrewbaggarly.bsky.social and @ken-rosenthal.bsky.social, the Red Sox are nearing a deal to send Marcelo Mayer to the Giants for LH reliever Erik Miller. Miller is a giant (6-ft-5, 269-pound) lefty who ranks in the 97th percentile in whiff percentage and 95th percentile in K rate (32%).
WOW I wanted Mayer to be a stud, but it just hasn't happened. Hopefully he does great with Raffy in SF.

That is a *haul*, but god damn, we're really going for it.
