When Republicans win by thin margins (or outright lose the popular vote but win via the Electoral College), they have a mandate to raze society. When progressives win by thin margins, it doesn't really count as a win and it would be really unfair of them to enact their agenda.

People will say they want full service airlines and wax nostaligic about the golden age of jet travel (when it was unaffordable), but revealed preferences are that people choose the lowest up front price option when spending their own money.

The thing that sucks about trilogies is how the finales often abandon whatever more-interesting direction their part two had shifted toward just to rehash all the shit from the first one again

They depend on liberals not caring enough to boycott them.
