El-Sayed is a Rhodes scholar. He trained as a doctor at Colombia where he became assistant professor of epidemiology and has worked in public health. In short, he is 1000 times more accomplished than Vance's boss.

The Conservative Party is now dead surely. The purge Boris started is now complete. If they are endorsing neo nazis who have served time for antisemitic harassment of a Jewish MP and attacking the police (who Kemi was just dressing up as) then it is a far right party.
That Joshua Bonehill-Paine is a suitable Tory candidate but Grant Shapps and Gavin Barwell have been excluded is quite a good indicator of how many seats the Tories will realistically regain at the next election.
