I had to code and pronounce a time of death on a respiratory therapist colleague. There's a memorial plaque for her outside the emergency department to this day. I wrote and re-wrote my will. I will never forgive these ghouls trying to rewrite history and deny our experience.

My unvaccinated brother died of COVID in 2021. I was about a year and a half into my epidemiology career. Healthcare staff did absolutely everything they could but they cannot cure ignorance. They cannot cure an anti-science belief and culture. Thats YOUR responsibility. Not Dr. Fauci’s.

If you want to run a steak house, make steak. If you want to run a vegan restaurant, don't make steak. However, running a vegan restaurant and lying about actually serving steak is shitty. That's how I feel about science educators and creators using genAI to research and write content.
