I liked Keir Starmer because he was steady, and didn’t say things to create soundbites. I liked how he talked about government being a service to the electorate. He often explained decisions, and most of them had a plan behind them. Words are easy, actions are harder and more complicated.

I NEVER found KS either beige or boring. He was a completely normal working class lad who worked damn hard to get where he got in life, took on the near impossible job of picking the Labour Party out of the gutter after the disastrous 2019 GE as party leader, shaking it up and leading it to victory

Rayner on tv this morning saying the govt doesnt intend to cap rents If a minister under Starmer had gone on tv and rowed back on that after suggesting it might be an idea it would have been called a U Turn Andy is certainly having a honeymoon!

'Starmer... blew massive chunks of political capital and endured pathetic jibes about “Never Here Keir” to stop Donald Trump handing Putin victory on a plate. “I’m convinced that if Trump had lost the election, Keir would still be Prime Minister,” said one insider who witnessed his activities'

The overlooked reason why Starmer deserves applause and to go down in history for a fine achievement. My @theipaper.com column with a warning for Burnham inews.co.uk/opinion/over...

Hard to think of a more deeply damaging start to Burnham’s premiership than giving green light to new oil & gas in N. Sea, if true. It won’t lower bills or lead to greater energy security but will drive an even hotter planet. What a terrible signal to give to rest of the world #ClimateVandalism

Andy Burnham will announce plans for new oil and gas drilling in the North Sea when he becomes prime minister on Monday, the BBC has been told. The announcement will form part of a flurry of policy m...

As I mourn the departure of our honourable PM I thought it appropriate to share a List of some of his outstanding achievements. In just 2 years. And after the Tories pillaged our Country. PLP what the fuck have you done?

GB News of all places, now admitting that the Starmer’s government’s policy of ‘smash the gangs’ is starting to work? I have to say ‘Starmer has been the most dishonestly vilified PM in my lifetime.

Staggered to hear Team Burnham is moaning that Starmer isn’t giving them longer to prepare… Christ you are booting a man out of his job and then you want him to take all the pain of hanging around until you’re ready, Keir should tell them to get F****d. Incredible arrogance from Burnham.

Yea not forget. Burnham tried to make a move at the Labour Party Conference last September. Now he’s complaining he doesn’t have enough time to form a government?

Just waiting for the columnists who helped push Keir Starmer out of office to write the inevitable comment pieces: "Whisper it: Starmer was much better than people gave him credit for", and "Actually, Burnham is obviously much worse than Starmer..."

To the Parliamentary Labour Party Do you really want to gift the Party Leadership and Prime Minister to an MP after less than a day who's twice failed to be elected Party Leader without any kind of test of their policies or ideas and without an election both of the PLP and the wider party? Really?
