Hey writers, editors, & anyone who uses Google workspace because there’s no other viable alternative - in addition to turning off Smart features, make sure you toggle off this new mess of nonsense hidden in the Admin settings.

Screenshot of Gemini settings for Google Workspace - turn off these features to protect your work.

instead of listening to all the thought-leader grifters that used to be somewhat respectable acting as mouth pieces for slop machines, spend some time getting very good at making stuff. there’s only so long these fucks can pretend this shit is actually good.

SUBJECT: URGENT TO THE DEVELOPERS OF THE PYTHON LIBRARY CALLED "SHAPELY" EVERY TIME I NEED TO LOOK SOMETHING UP IN YOUR DOCUMENTATION I WIND UP GOOGLING THE PHRASE "SHAPELY PYTHON" AND FEEL LIKE A PERVERT PLEASE CHANGE YOUR LIBRARY'S NAME SINCERELY A MAN WHO IS TRYING TO BE RESPECTABLE

The tech gremlins have been pushing Google and Zoom meeting invites into my spam and junk over the last two weeks, but somehow this one makes it to the inbox? I certainly don't want to work with Mr. Wang, but I do need to get work emails from folks I've already been chatting with! 😂 WTF

An email from Mark Wang with a suspicious looking email address expressing eagerness to work together, received in the inbox amid junk messages.

I should have guessed when Claude was on Struggle Street this week, they were about to push something big 😻 Opus 4.6 Cowork is checking Figma data (Anova plugin YAML), comparing it to my design token JSON files + ADR's, reviewing Radix open-source docs, and writing my component architecture docs 🤯

Wanna guess which of these stats I'm the most proud of? 🙏 Top 10% of builders globally using Lovable is WILD, seeing as I started using it in Dec for SheBuilds, where I sent almost 200 messages in 48hrs. However, it's the 9/10 in the politeness score that made me smile. 🫶
