I'm deep down the rabbit hole on FROGFISH, 60 species of anglerfish in family Antennariidae. They are deeply, utterly WEIRD & MARVELOUS. Most walk on modified fins. Others use jet propulsion. Some are capable of air-breathing. Some are "hairy", others blend perfectly in sargassum.

Not much change in the story from yesterday. Since the snow in Halifax will be rather wet, shovel strategy to clear first 10cm mid aftn and next 10cm again after supper before change to rain. Not a real hard freeze Tuesday to deal with leftover slush. Two more systems this week. Sigh. Take care!

Major winter storm on Monday: heavy snow reaches Halifax late morning then covers all southern Maritimes by late aftn with strong winds. Snow mixes with rain along ATL coast then across CB overnight. Gradual improvement west to east Tues. Added snowfall map: very heavy wet snow. Outage threat.
