Been doing a lot of retro gaming recently, and man, there is nothing quite like reading a guide from GameFAQs from 2003 or so 😆 The longwinded rants out of nowhere, snide remarks to everything, ASCII art, unnecessary personal info... it's incredible! Just as full an experience as playing the game.
Been playing some Gamecube games recently, and it's been great, but I forgot about the era of auto-save not being everywhere 😆 Lost all my progress in TWO games so far. No auto-save, no prompts for save, just old-fashioned "you didn't go to Options > Save, too bad lol." What a different time...
