Just a chap from South West England. Loving all things 8bit, 16bit and more bit. Views are my own and maybe wrong. Co host of the Pixel Gaiden podcast. https://pixelgaiden.podbean.com/

I added a repulsor to a new level I have been working on and one on its own isn’t too evil, either take it slow, use your shield or stay out of its range. I like it and think it’s an interesting addition to the game.

This gives a good idea of what stages in Saki Endo's Ghost House (the game I'll be in) will be like, every stage can be completed quite normally, but if you do it a certain way not only will you maximise points but also unlock secrets. Such as a door that doesn't yet open, and a buggy last enemy LOL

This week's new review is available to watch now, this one is: *a-door-able* It's Door Door on the Famicom! A debut for the Dragon Quest maker, and Enix's first Famicom game as well. So what do we think and is it playable to non-Japanese speakers? Find out!

I’m in a game! Well a very early demonstration of one I’ll be in anyway. Saki Endo’s Ghost House will be a fun arcade style score attack game borrowing liberally from the classics, endlessly playable with secrets and scoring techniques, boss fights and the cheesiest story this side of Cheddar Gorge.

Leveled up my Genesis system the other night. Much faster loading than my old ever drive clone. and CD games, to boot! 😉 Also, I just cannot recommend the RetroTink devices highly enough. This system looks fucking gorgeous thru the RT5x

Surrounded by women, lawmakers, and advocate champions, Gov. Maura Healey signed landmark legislation ensuring full abortion access in MA. Women have the fundamental right to choose for their own bodies. Healthcare is a human right, period!

VERY happy this morning! This is what the print run of Space Pizza SDs look like… I am so pleased with how my pixels have turned out on physical media ❤️ Thank you to @sanxion.bsky.social for handling the business side of Space Pizza for me! Coming soon for the ZX Spectrum Next

It's really nice to hear the Rubbish Heap has become an essential part of people's viewing! We have a very small but very dedicated following and we appreciate each and every one of you who tunes in :)

As part of my essential Saturday morning viewing. Just had a cuppa with @rubbishheap.bsky.social and Ninja Cop for the GBA. Not a game I was aware of but I am now. Looks like a slick platformer. Lots of fun to be had here. Go check out the review and maybe go play Ninja Cop too 🥷👮‍♂️

*mumbles something about a new review now being on YouTube* Enjoy! It's Ninja Cop or Ninja Five-O as it was in North America. But why on earth did this Japanese developed (by Hudson Soft) game never get released by Konami (a Japanese company) in Japan?!? #retrogaming
