The "gender critical" movement are not appealing their loss in their fight to stop the puberty blocker trial. The "irreversible harm" James is talking about here is people being trans. That's it. Helen Joyce said it clearly, even if trans people say they are happy they consider them to be "harmed."

I don't have all that much objection to "adult human female" as the definition of woman. It's not great but it works fine mostly. And trans women are, after all, adults and humans and female. The problem is transphobes don't know what the fuck words mean, including female.

Deeply disappointed at the comments on my Ken Jennings video. People would rather have empathy for a cis person than the trans person mocked. While it certainly wasn't the only factor, collective covid measures followed by a summer of major uprisings are a reminder of how terrified the gentry are of people realizing they can act and work together. They're pushing hard to erase the memory of that entire time period for a reason.

Canadian researchers found that 97 percent of youth who seek treatment for gender dysphoria still identify as trans years later.

Other known reasons for detransitioning and/or ceasing medical transition are: unable to afford treatment, scaremongring about side effects, actual negative side effects, being cut off from support (incl. Being made homeless) if they transition, torture (aka conversion therapy).

Detransition is almost always a result of incessant harassment from former friends and family members, but it can also come from employers, or from the general public just being openly hostile to a trans person.

Literally seen them make this argument. Hell, the Cass Report came close to saying it (with zero evidence).
