Lately I've noticed people asking if patterns of writing are a symptom of AI. (Example 3 pronged thesis.) But those patterns were present before AI, and the AI likely trained on those patterns to reproduce them. It's a little circular. 1/3

#earlymodern folks: I'm out of touch w/current work on Catholic Reformation (is it even called that anymore?)--i.e. reform movements that pre-date Trent, and in some cases, even Protestantism. Esp. interested in women's participation. I know the older material, but is there anything new? must-reads?
